But Brad Pitt, still in the wake of his ongoing divorce from Angelina Jolie, took the opportunity to seek out some much-needed relaxing time at the luxury, secluded resort Amanyara Villas in Turks and Caicos. The hotel, which took about eight years to build, is situated on the turquoise Western shore of Providenciales. Guests can laze by the beach, looking out into the reefs of Northwest Point Marine National Park, or by their own private pools, which is exactly what Pitt did.

The villas, like the one Pitt stayed in, manage to provide privacy while blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors. Each villa is built on 1.3 to 2 acres of land and has plenty of room to stretch out inside as well—10,000 square feet to be exact, according to the hotel’s website, with three to five bedrooms each.

Fittingly, Amanyara translates to “peaceful place” in Sanskrit and Arawak Indian. The hotel offers a “secluded beachside setting with a contemporary design to fulfill that very ethos and deliver a promise of unparalleled tranquility, sensual delight, subtle inspiration and utmost privacy,” as the website states.
