The award-winning and five-star intimate hospitality venue, 41 Hotel is situated in the heart of London, more specifically Westminster, overlooking the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace and a stone’s throw from Victoria Station. This authentic hotel is composed by an excellent group of passionate professionals whose main purpose is to ensure that each guest has a “home away from home” experience. In 1998, The Hotel was acquired by the Red Carnation Hotel Collection. Written by Maria Barraca.
The Hotel is near to London’s top attractions, including the Leafy St James’s Park and Green Park, which are perfect for a picnic or a morning run, and if one looks forward to going on pleasant wanders, then you have the Westminster Abbey, Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and River Thames.
A chic black and white design run throughout, including the famous Executive Lounge, in which guests are invited to ‘plunder the pantry’ and enjoy a glass of Champagne by the fireplace. Offering exceptional comfort and luxury, 41 has 30 luxurious rooms and suites that are enriched by exquisite mahogany furniture and details. They are equipped with glamorous Savoir beds that share that striking black and white colour palette. The three fabulous split-level Junior Suites provide enough space and one glass-roofed Master Suite that will make you feel as if you were floating high above the city.
This boutique hotel offers informal and personalised dining and drinking experiences. Coming back to the lustrous and high-class Executive Lounge, guests are able to benefit from delicious drinks and canapés while enjoying a light snack. Feeling almost as a private member’s club, the lounge presents mahogany panelling, glittering chandeliers and a glass roof conceding a cosy and familiar ambience. The Hotel also has an extensive selection of fine champagnes from the South African estate, Bouchard Finlayson. They are served with light dishes that include Sevruga Caviar.
At the Hotel’s sister property, The Rubens at the Palace, guests can benefit from a safari-chic Leopard Champagne Bar, which celebrates the social essence through an exclusive environment. There is as well as an award-winning Library Restaurant, which is recognised for its tender meats and Dover Sole. Offering inventive cocktails and mouth-watering burgers, the neighbouring hotel also has a relaxing and fresh Bar & Restaurant.
In conclusion, the hotel has been honoured as the best hotel in the World, Europe and London as well as service, with the best recognition a hospitality venue can possibly be awarded, from Forbes, Trip Advisor, the AA Awards, Condé Nast Johansens and Travel + Leisure.
