Architects and designers from around the world entered over 150 projects from across Asia for the inaugural Asia Hotel Design Awards. The first round of judging has now been completed and the shortlist has been announced. The winners will be presented at the awards ceremony during Singapore Design Week at Parkroyal on Pickering, on Thursday 12 March 2015.

To apply to the contest, the projects had to be open between the 1 August 2013 and 1 September 2014.
