Over 200,000 legos and 500 hours went into a whopping 200,000 LEGOS that form 56 LEGO gingerbread houses representing each U.S. state and territory in the State Dining Room and LEGO “gingerfriends.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be a White House Christmas without a gingerbread replica of the iconic government building and residence. No detail was overlooked in the construction of the gingerbread house, which required 150 pounds of gingerbread and 100 pounds of dough on the outside frame.
