Have you ever felt that space that you are working in kills your creativity? That’s the problem Salt office tried to solve this year. After successful launch they noticed that the environment they are working in is more suitable for small groups of 1-2 persons, although people usually worked in groups of 3-6. Those were making a lot of noise, disturbing others’ work. This is why it was decided to redesign Salt’s office. Check out all details about it!
Those were making a lot of noise, disturbing others’ work. This is why it was decided to redesign Salt’s office in order to accomodate smaller and bigger groups and divide working and leisure areas so that visitors don’t feel like sardines in a tin. And here two architects from Esthet – Igor Kuznetchov and Marina Rasponomareva were ready to help.

The idea was to preserve all the advantages of an open office, while simultaneously getting rid of the negatives. Although the office looked aesthetically pleasing with is wide, beautiful open space it was the thing that destroyed productivity.
Working without barriers, you can notice all the disturbing things like coworkers habits, the distant hum of a microwave, a personal phone call. Due to this architects came up with a plan to divide the large space into small rooms with an absolute maximum of eight workstations.
These works stations were fully separated from other zones like kitchen, cloakroom, bathrooms and showers, recreation lounge. Also other renovations were done like removing plaster, restoring floors, constructing partitions from old kiln bricks, designing and producing sliding doors for the economy of the space.
As a result, modern area became cozier and more comfortable. Soft colors as brown, appropriate lighting, colorful details let you relax in the leisure spot and kitchen, while working area is totally prepared for productive work, with its better lighting, neutral colors, minimalistic details and all the office furniture you need.

The company is content with the result and now the work should be better than ever. When needed, brain storming can happen in the leisure spot on the comfortable sitting bags. You can also work alone if your task demands great concentration and personal space.
