The Interior Design For A New Penthouse Project In Singapore – This interior design project was created by an interior design student from the National University of Singapore… It’s hard to believe that a simples student can create a project like this one, right?
Gareth Sea is a boy who is studying for a gaining a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the National University of Singapore. Although he hasn’t much experience in the market (since he just starting his career), Sea was able to create an impressive interior design project for the ultimate penthouse in Singapore!
Apart from his studies, he has also actively participated and won in numerous competitions organized by Urban Redevelopment Authority (Singapore), The Fullerton Heritage, Leica, Keppel Land and among others. Recently, he became one of the finalists for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Design competition as well as achieving 1st Runner Up for the Young Designer Award 2018.
Sea‘s design style is based on re-inventing a modern and timeless space with the use of antique, reclaimed materials combined with new state of the art creations. His latest design project for the luxurious Singapore Penthouse was developed with the help of the Italian renowned Architect Massimo Mercurio.
Inspired by “Dio“, the Italian word for God, the 200sqm space features clean lines and shapes, as well as inimitable materials, adds a little character to the design. When designing with “Dio” and Couture concept in mind, it is necessary to fuse natural materials along with aged artifacts.
Marble (Lapicida), wood (TalaricoHardwood), metal and lights are fused together to create a modern luxury
space worthy of being in this luxurious penthouse. These natural materials are enhanced by the colored lighting in the interior design project.
Exotic materials, such as figured woods, are used in the project with the goal to transmit the essence of the luxury design style and lifestyle. This modern penthouse is something that is going to be quite coveted, don’t you think?
