The Eco Restaurant Concept By A Brazilian Interior Designer – The combination of the golden grass beauty with natural exotic materials was the starting point for the Itinerant Eco Restaurant of the Mountains project by Maluh Amorim!

The Brazilian interior designer wanted to incorporate in her interior design project natural materials typical of the country culture (like bamboo, natural fibers, and wood) to appeal to the conscious of the costumer! She wanted to show that is possible to do a contemporary style sustainable project full with innovation and customization, that really transmits the essence of the Brazilian culture.

In her academical journey, Maluh Amorim specialized herself in the fields of architecture, industrial design, and interior design. The interior designer develops commercial and residential interior projects, making sure that all of the customers’ desires are fulfilled in every step of the project!

Most of her work is based on the lines of the contemporary style allied to comfort, functionality, and sustainability. Through her professional journey as an interior designer, Maluh has been recognized for he sustainable concept and has participated in many design fairs, such as the “Casa Cor”, “Modernos e Eternos”, “Morar Mais por Menos”, and “Decora Líder”, among others.

In the design project, Maluh used some warm color tones like the popular gold, Tiffany green, Bordeaux, amber of the stones of Minas Gerais and the green of the garden plants integrated to the environment, so that the future customer could feel the connection to the natural environment!

Woody flooring, natural fibers and indirect lighting are the three major elements for the foundation of the interior design project because the interior designer believes that these natural elements accentuates the relationship of closeness and comfort.

The Eco Restaurant Concept By A Brazilian Interior Designer

All of the furniture in the restaurant project is made of reforestation wood and bamboo. On the wall, she incorporated a statement piece created by Jalapão Valley, a community artisan, made out of recycled coating of sequins, PVC and golden grass. This textured mandalas pattern adds another dimension to the restaurant project!

This sustainable project was created to maximize the natural resources as much as possible! Using solar energy, collecting and reusing rainwater in wet areas of the kitchen and bathrooms, using LED bulbs (which reduce the emission of carbon in the atmosphere), the use of natural lighting and ventilation, recycling of waste, selective collection, reuse of frying oil for the production of biodiesel and soap and recycling of plastic packaging, glasses and used paper, are some of the things that help to care our natural environment.

The Itinerant Eco Restaurant of the Mountains project food concept it’s all about using a selection of organic products from local producers, such as vegetables, vegetables, and fresh fruits, without pesticides and the use of 100% of every fruit or vegetable, to prevent to much waste!
