The Modern Summer House Project By Mohamed Kamel – Be inspired by this inspirational design idea for your future vacation home! The project by the Egyptian interior designer is another of the Covet International Awards contestants!
Located in North Coast, Egypt, this modern summer house took 5 years to be completely finished! Inspired by Hacienda’s surroundings, the Style Architect and Interior Design team managed to remodel the Villa by creating a connection between indoor and outdoor.
In 1980, Mohamed Kamel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Alexandria University. After graduation, he worked in Saudi Egyptian Company for seven years, but then in 1987, he decided that it was time to start his own project and open his own office called Style Architect and Interior Design .
This design studio works in multiple types of design projects… From interior design, landscape architecture and furniture design to creating residential projects (apartments, villas, town houses, summer houses, etc…), shops, hotels and offices, Kamel became a successful architect.
The modern villa project has a balance between the traditional and modern style that ends up in the ultimate luxurious living experience. They changed a 5-bedroom villa, into 6 bedrooms each with their own personal bathroom.
The color scheme of the interior design project is focused on neutral color tones, especially in grey and white. The design also includes laser cut porcelain ceramic and transparent curtains to give a more spacious appearance. The main goal was to have an open space project, where the connection between the inside and the outside is natural!
