How New York Design Agenda, we also love extravagant, radicals and different concepts to houses!
Today Best Design Projects presents a penthouse named SkyHouse located in New York designed by David Hotson Architect and Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design.
SkyHouse is a penthouse occupying four floors at the summit of an early skyscraper situated in the unique vertical cityscape of Lower Manhattan. The building was completed in 1896 and is one of the earliest surviving skyscrapers in New York City. The penthouse structure features enormous arched windows which encompass a panoramic architectural history of New York City. The house features an awesome polished steel slide.
At the attic level the outward sloping glass wall provides a vertiginous vista down to the Living Space four levels below. Furniture, fabrics, and finishes were designed by Ghislaine Viñas of Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design.
We would love have a house where we can up the walls and down through a slide. Why not?
