Project CULTURE created by Covet Foundation it’s a way of celebrating the finest craftsmanship all around the world. This Creative Hub allows master artisans, plastic artists and designers to work together searching for new artistic ways to express themselves and create beautiful hand-made masterpieces.

As you know, painting is one of the most ancient and popular arts in the world… It looks so simple at first sight but what many people can imagine is that this meticulous technique brings many challenges to any master artisan, plastic artist or designer. Adapting ancient techniques generally used to create smaller decorative objects into furniture is not easy, but the Project CULTURE seams to have created a unique stool design
This exclusive and limited-edition art piece resulted from one of CULTURE’s many workshops, where the hand-painted stools in oil and acrylic paint. The oil version was designed by Joaquim and handcrafted by Oficina Santa Barbara. The magic of it is in the contrast between the black background and the colorful yet gentle and naturalistic flowers. On the other side, the hand-painted acrylic stool is more geometrical in its design and was conceived by the plastic artist Hugo Santos.
