Moroso’s Contemporary Stand at Salone del Mobile 2018 – During Salone del Mobile 2018, Moroso presented a highly curated exhibition space signed by the extremely beloved designer Patricia Urquiola, which feature various of her brilliant designs as well as other pieces from renowned creators, such as Doshi & Levien, Ron Arad, Sebastian Herkner, Edward van Vliet and Benjamin Hubert. In Moroso’s stand – which was located in pavillion 16, stand A29 B22 – visitors were also able to see for the very first time the unique collection of chairs designed by Niels Bendtsen as well as a few tables designed by Mayr & Glatzl. In addition, there was also a space dedicated to Green Light, the design of tables and bookcases designed by the great artist Olafur Eliasson. The company has always been open to new ideas, from its origins in post-war Italy where there was a culture of ‘doing things and doing them well’, Moroso has been farsighted, daring and certain of the advantage of combining craftsmanship and tailoring with industrial processing techniques to create unique products and by drawing on the worlds of industrial design, contemporary art and fashion.
