Studio Ardete is an Indian design studio recognized for its luxury designs full of glamour. Their latest luxury design project, known as “Swarn Jewellers”, was conceived to highlight a varied collection of jewelry and accessories with black and gold tones elaborate a royal aesthetic which magnifies the individualism. Besides this luxurious store project, the Indian design studio also created some incredible designs in Japan, Italy, and France.
Located in Chandigarh, India, the studio founded Badrinath Kaleru and Prerna Kaleru in 2010, aims to make each design project unique through exquisite art pieces. With the use of modern construction and building methods to come up with designs that are on par with the most accomplished practices in the world, Ardete incorporates new techniques like parametric modeling and customized design elements, unique to each project they take on, striving to use materials available on site to make the projects sustainable.
The luxury design project was created for a jewelry retail store in Chandigarh, India called Swarn Jellewers. The goal was to highlight a varied collection of expansive jewelry and accessories. The black and gold tones elaborate a royal aesthetic which magnifies the individualism. On the first floor, the walls were provided with niches which were finished with quilting for singular designer pieces, promoting a higher albeit a kingly standard of inheritance.

In the back of the store, the Indian interior designers added a series of golden metallic frames suspended from the ceiling form a rhythmic composition which brings attention to the exquisite jewelry. The dark shades of the ceiling and black reflective mirrors become a subliminal presence, highlighting the golden details. In essence, Swarn shares the individuality of each person since each piece displayed was crafted to some peculiar taste.
