The Interior Design Behind Alessandra Ambrosio California Home – Supermodel and former Victoria Secrets Angel, Alessandra Ambrosio, crafts a modern style haven in Santa Monica. Take a look!
Due to her multiple travels, the Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio considers her Southern California House as her own little paradise, that she shares with her ten-year-old daughter, Anja, and her six-year-old son, Noah. Her 1920s residence, right in the middle of Santa Monica beach, is an interior design project inspired by the combo of Angeleno Spanish Colonial Revival design and the Morrocan style.
Although she lived in Los Angels for a few years, she couldn’t find the perfect home for her and her family. She spent five years searching for this amazing place that she could call home because it felt like it. That was the time when she met the popular interior designer, Martyn Lawrence Bullard.
The interior design manages to combine color, texture, and an exotic feel, into a playful design that is appropriate for the kids. The home decor style was like as the Brazilian boho meets the California Rock ’n’ Roll vibe.

Ambrosio’s Brazilian heritage serves as another inspirational source throughout the 1920s residence. There are certain aspects like the jacaranda tree planted in the front yard, the Jorge Zalszupin armchairs in the living room or the Jean Gillon lounge chair in the master bedroom, that really captures the vivacious spirit of the models’ home country.
This design project is a successful example of how can you mixture multiple decoration styles in a balanced and modern way. Sympathetic furnishings from Moroccan, Indian, Turkish, and Italian, make this a multicultural exquisite interior design.
