Sherif Kamel And His Latest Villa Design Project – The villa extension project from the join Style Architects and Interior Design designer is the last of the Covet International Awards Contestants! Some amazing projects have been presented, but this luxury villa isn’t less than the other. Take a look!
Sherif Kamel, from the Style Architects and Interior Design, created this luxurious villa design project. The interior designer was o part of a design experts team responsible for the architectural and interior design of the Royal Family and friends.
During his studies, Sherif started to gain experience from an internship in one of the leading Architectural firms in Dubai, Naga Architects. The interior designer graduated in 2007 from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.
Nowadays, he is the COO of the design studio that covers the two major cities in Egypt: Alexandria (where it is the headquarters of the design studio) and Cairo in order to reach a bigger number of clients that are passionate about the interior design industry. Throughout the all design concept of this modern style villa, the interior designer wanted to combine the Egyptian traditional style with some modern touches, a fact that we can see in the grooved pillars that represent the ancestors with marble and straight line ceiling.
The extension villa project was inspired by an innovative theme: the local tradition industrialization! The first step to this massive challenge was to set a base to the modern building structure, that was also created by Sherif and his team! The building texture was created with local traditional materials such as mud bricks. Having real greenery all over the house (in and outside) makes it look like the building belongs in the surrounded landscape.
Don’t forget to read:
An open concept kitchen that leads directly to the living room, was a fundamental design idea in order to give the luxury home a more spacious look. The same marble texture was used for the breakfast counter and floor. Since it’s all straight lines, there was a risk to end in a blend space. Sherif decided to incorporate an irregularly shaped wooden table, specially made for this living room decor.
As you enter the master bedroom you’ll face nature-inspired interior design! The bedroom (once again) has an open concept design, so the master bathroom is separated with to innovative hanging mirrors, that have a blue painting on one side. The entire bedroom decor features a lot of glass elements and natural plants.
The interior design project created by Sherif was based on a minimalistic perspective so that every single furniture design or lighting fixture could shine for itself!
